Sail On.....

Aw...Chinese junks, don't you just love them?  I do.  They make the best junk I've ever seen.  I have a model of one at home.

Actually, all countries make good and bad junk.  I can remember back in the days when Americans made junk.  It was good and bad.  So, I don't understand the fuss.  In a way, you can't have the good without the bad.  It shows that all people are human.

I only buy Italian myself.

Yep...your right. (edit:I just wrote wright) The writer in you just makes me do that. :)

I couldn't resist the Italian comment. I was born and raised in Italy. And yes, I admit to liking Italian handbags.

Did you ever see George Carlin do his "Stuff and Junk" routine? At least I think it was him. Your stuff is "stuff" but other people's stuff is "junk." It was funny but yet so true.

The nuances of words still amazes me.

You know, I've never seen Carlin. I think I missed out on a good thing. From what other people say about his humor, I could kick myself.

The thing that so amazing about the English language is the vocabulary. No other language in the world has anything close. The reason why is that English steals from other languages. So there are so many meanings you can make with just one word.

Yeah...one reason (poor guys) is that Australia is so darn close to China. You have to admit the Chinese "Junk" is a pretty fishing boat
